COVID-19 Travel Requirements

As of November 30, 2021, you must be fully vaccinated with the approved vaccines to board any domestic or international flight. If you cannot provide proof of vaccination, you will not be able to travel. If you indicate to your airline that you are eligible to board, but fail to provide valid proof, you could face penalties or significant fines. We recommend you contact the airlines directly for their specific boarding requirements and refund policies.  If you are flying internationally, we recommend that you review their COVID-19 policies in regards to entry, testing and vaccination status prior to leaving Canada.

Pre-Entry Testing

Although the Canadian Rockies International Airport do not have any international flights arriving, or departing from our airport at this time, we do receive a lot of questions about testing. Several passengers have connecting flights in Calgary or Vancouver to various international destinations, and pass through those airports upon arrival back into Canada. Please follow this link to the Government of Canada's website for more detailed information: Current COVID-19 Travel & Entry Requirements

*Pre-entry testing is not required for fully vaccinated travellers entering Canada by land, air or water. You must still use the ArriveCAN app within 72 hours before arrival into Canada.

As of April 25, 2022 unvaccinated and partially vaccinated children under the age of 12 are no longer required to provide a valid pre-entry test result, if they are accompanying a fully vaccinated adult. Children who are less than 5 years old are not required to test, regardless of their vaccination status.
