FlyYXC Email Signatures
Cut and paste any of these announcements into your email signature. The web banners & boxes (coming soon) can also be reduced in size to make colourful email signatures.
Instructions (for Outlook):
1. Click cursor in front of the phrase you want to select below
2. Drag cursor to end of the phrase (the whole phrase will be highlighted now)
3. Right click > Copy
4. Go to Outlook. Open Tools > Options > Mail Format (top navigation tabs)
5. Open Signatures (ensure “Email Signature” tab is open and there is a large blank white box in the bottom of the window.
6. If the box already has a signature in it, click “New” to get a new blank box. Name the new signature.
7. Right click “Paste” into the blank box
8. Ensure the format of the signature is good. If you have something in the signature that is to be an internet hyperlink, ensure it is linked. If not, press the link chain (looks like a small planet earth with a chain link on the right side above the “Edit Signature” box). If the line spacing needs to be adjusted, highlight all the copy in the box, right click on "Paragraph" and set line spacing at single.
9. Ensure your newly named signature is selected for use (top white box called ”Select signature to edit”)
10. Ensure your newly named signature is selected as the default signature (“Choose Default Signature” box, top right of window)
11. Press OK > OK to return to your email inbox.
12. Open a new message and check that the signature you want is there.
13. Just put this here because I didn’t want to end on #13.
