Updated Airport Improvement Report

The report includes details of the $12.7 million project, which included a runway extension to 8,000 feet, a series of upgrades to the fuelling, baggage handling, and related operational areas, and a terminal building expansion. Completed October 2008, the 2100 square meter terminal building includes new arrivals and departure lounges, security screening area, and the construction of a CBSA (Canada Customs and Immigrations) facility to ensure timely processing of passengers is available on demand. Floor to ceiling windows provide stunning views of the Rocky Mountains over the runway.
