Air Canada eliminates second bag fee
September 22, 2008
Air Canada announced today that, in response to decreasing fuel prices, it is eliminating its 25$ fee for a second checked bag for North American travel with Tango and Tango Plus fares. The change comes into effect September 23, 2008.
With today’s announcement, Air Canada becomes the first major North American carrier to remove second checked bag fees introduced earlier this year to help offset record high oil prices.
